Brass ships ashtray. No markings or stamps I can see. It counter balances with marking around base can't tell what they are possibly bug shrimp

It's a nightstand that is very old. No clear maker marks. Has an ashtray in the top slide out drawer. And a cabinet below. about 2.5 -3 feet tall.

This item seems to be repurposed into an ashtray, but it's made of solid brass and weighs almost 2kg. The stamp in the middle reads 'Jydske' meaning 'From Jutland' in danish. ...
