The single strap handle is of the same cloth and attaches by brass triangles. It opens with a hinged mechanism by pulling cloth tabs which are also embroidered. It stays open much like a knitting bag. The lining is peach/gold tafetta? which is worn but has no holes. There is a small inside pocket also of the tafetta?. It measures about 2x8x14". It was found at a Goodwill in Greenville, SC. There are no labels or manufacturer markings. I mainly wish to know what decade it is from. Keywords: Jacobean Crewel Embroidery Handbag
