My mom found this at a flea market in Columbus, GA, but we're not exactly sure what it is. Best I could figure is a towel holder, but not certain (the "hook" part can rest on a bar, and things can be held off of it).
There appears to be a D at the top of the ring, and another one at the base of the the projection at the top. Other than that, I can't see any other marks.
The overall length is about 10.5", width of the O is 5.5", the depth of the hook at the top is 5".
