Description: the initials on the top are for a family member, John H Stone. It is a family name (first middle and last name) passed on for a few generations and I'm not sure which generation this was from. I suspect it belonged to John H Stone, born around 1827/1832 in Maryland. I know he served in the civil war. Enlisted with the confederacy in Richmond, Virginia in 1861 and he survived the war.
