Description: While visiting my aunt over the weekend, she pulled this small figure from a display cabinet. It stands around 1 and a half inches tall, and is about 3 quarters of an inch wide.

In incredible detail, it depicts a lion with a gazelle or antelope in its mouth. On its back are fine lines to show the mane. (see pictures) On the base is a small hole (1/4 inch wide)

It was found about 30 years ago, in a garden in Old Town, Swindon, UK. We suspect it to be made from ivory.

Basically, we just want to know what it is.

Any information gratefully recieved.
