Description: This high quality treen object has been shown to several collector's and no one has a confident guess as to its original function. Measuring 16 3/8" long x 1" in diameter tapering to 3/4" and an oblique point, it is turned from rosewood with a nice handle on one end. There are no cracks, chips or repairs and it shows satiny finish from years of friction and use. The tip has no more wear than any other portion so no particular friction or wear on tip.
It looks most like post-Harry Potter fan inspired turned wood wands also marketed to Wiccans, but if this is a wand it would make those reproductions. Does not resemble Victorian ladies’ clubs or anything I have seen.
Except wands.
Earliest known wizarding wand?
One photo shows it in new “wand box.”
