Description: This mystery object came from an old couple who used to brew their own alcohol in the UK. I have very little information about it but here is everything I know:
The interior of the wall is brass
There is a seal (presumably for hold a vacuum) on the lid
The walls are about an inch thick
The bottom is curved into a dish shape
There is a vacuum release valve on the top
It is quite old by looking at the condition it's in
Any help identifying this would be so helpful, thanks everyone
Regards, Alex
