Description: ****PLEASE HELP****
I am a complete loss on this one. I am fairly savvy and can usually find some information on the items I come across at estate sales or thrift shops. But this one has got me stymied. It measures 19 1/2” x 11 1/4” x 2 1/2”. It reads “The “READING” Center Lace Attachment” it has 40 numbered equal square sections and one longer unnumbered rectangular section. It is stamped B-9411 in the long rectangle section and B-9412 on the inside of the lid. It is quite heavy and looks like cast iron but I suspect it is probably aluminum. It has a leather handle. I can certainly provide more pictures if needed.

Thanks in advance to anyone that can help solve this mystery.
