Description: To whom it may concern,
I am a eighth grade student at the International School of Prague. We have recently started a new project in our Language Arts and Social Studies class. We have been assigned an unidentified antique artifact from the Lobkowicz family collections. We have to identify our specific object and think about where we would place it if we were to display it in a museum. We also need to use the object to tell a story about history. We have to research who made it, why it was made, what was it used for, and learn how it connects to its time period. To successfully meet this challenge, our group will have to function like the curator at a museum.

Could you share some of your knowledge on the style and background of these shoes?
