Description: Can anyone help me identify what this is. It has been in our family for decades. It is solid wood (walnut possibly). Someone once suggested it might be a wool spindle, but searching the web for wool spindles I haven't been able to find a similar one. Help please and thanks! And if you have an idea of what this is, can you tell me what it might be worth?? Thanks for your help!
