I was hoping to find out what these are statues of.
Unfortunately, no one in my family has much information on these statues. Both of them were received through my grandfather after he passed away 4 - 5 years ago. My grandfather inherited these statues from his grandparents, and that is pretty much the extent of my knowledge on them. From what my family and I have gathered we believe these might be Balinese wood carvings, but no one is 100% sure. Finding out information on them has been very difficult--I have seen several similar ones, but I have yet to find a match for these guys. I don't know how old these things are, but I know they are easily 80 years old given my grandfather's history.
