Description: Brass door plate from Disneyland CA. Possibly dated July 17 1955, measures 10"H x 3 3/4"W. Very detailed piece with history, it was removed during renovations I was told by the dealer I bought it from in 1989. I hope the pics are good. Please let me know if there is any real value besides me love for it. Thanks!

This is a brass door plate is what I was told. It use to hang somewhere at Disneyland Ca, and was removed during renovations. It has a date of July 17 1955 embossed on it along with Walt Disney's famous saying..."To all those who enter this happy place welcome...." It is 10"H x 3 3/4"W. It is an awsome piece of Disney history. I bought it from an antique dealer at a county fair about 1989. Please take a close up look at the details and enjoy! I would love to know if this piece has any real value besides my love of Disney. Thank you.

If you go to this website, they are selling a Disney Stamped Brass Plate for $395.00 that is almost identical to the one that you have. The only difference is this one reads as "3261 Troust", whereas your plate reads as "3241 Troust". There was also an identical plate that sold for $88 on ebay. It's possible that this is a reproduction of the brass plaque mounted on Main Street U.S.A. on opening day in 1955 in Anaheim, California. Either way, if you paid $25 for this item, then you got yourself a great deal!
