Description: I purchased this at a thrift store. Google and eBay are coming up empty. When I purchased it, the clamp things were at the bottom, but the whole thing unscrews, so a friend turned the tube around which seems to make more sense. It seems to be solid brass. It has a solid bottom covered with felt. It also spins—and very smoothly. No markings on it at all. Any information I can get would be helpful.
