WHAT IS THIS?? Small jar/jug/ bottle that says "North German Lloyd S.S. Bremen" on it. Filled with liquid but bottle is sealed.

Got as a gift. Made of stained wood and there are metal medallions on each leg. Two medallions feature a camel, one an Egyptian lady head and one of papyrus. All metal medallions are in great shape but never polished by me.
The binding string resembles cane material. I was told it was a camel seat but am unsure. Willing to part with it if anyone is interested. Just want to know what
it is and approx value.
