Rococo style giltwood mirror; very finely carved with fruit and foliate designs and with open scroll work alternating with open scroll designs, and
Rococo style serpentine shaped giltwood carved console with original Carrara marble top. The console stands on four scrolled cabriole legs. A bottom stretcher attaches the four legs to a centre acanthus leaf carving.
My Grandparents came from Italy in 1939, and this was in the ship with
them, i also know they had it years prior to them coming here.My
grandparents lived in Beverly Hills and were extremely wealthy and
owned many valuable pieces of art and furniture. I have had these
items in my home for several years and now downsizing. Im in
interested in liquidated these pieces, of Rococo.Im sure these pieces
are early 20th century, and may date back farther
