Description: I don't know much about this ball, but I do know I can't find another one like it. I'm in Atlanta and I've had possession of it for about 10 years. I found this ball inside of a suitcase that that was discarded when someone in my area cleaned out a house. I don't know why I didn't just take the whole thing, perhaps I could've found out a little more about it.
I do remember seeing something amongst all the misc. items in the case. There were at least 50 or more meal coupons/stubs from the shipyards down in Jacksonville Florida. I assume whoever owned the suitcase, used to work down there.
And, of course, Hank Aaron has plenty of ties to Jacksonville. This is all the information I have.
The ball wrapped in a piece of tissue paper and in it's box, as found.
If anyone has any information, I sure would appreciate it. Or if anyone has seen another ball like it or similar.
Any opinions whether or not it has, or could have value.
Thank you for looking and any help.
