Description: Looking for assistance to identify this tool. The handle is made of wood and the head (top) is brass. The only markings are "Patent Applied For" on the shiny lever. When the lever is pressed 2 very small jaws located in the head are forced together, as to grip something like a small wire in them, and retracted part way into the head.
