Description: My great-great grandmother brought this with her from the Shetland Islands (Scotland) in 1910 when she migrated after marrying. It's smooth on the bottom with the same finish as that visible in the photo, and is about 10cm/4" tall. She only brought a small number of keepsakes with her, most of which had some connection to her church (she was a Primitive Methodist). Any ideas as to what it is would be welcome.
