Hi there..First of all, congrats on a wonderful and informative website. And i was hoping you could provide me with some information regarding this railroad lantern.
I recently bought this railroad lantern at a garage sale but the seller couldn't give me any information about it. The seller told me it was from the 1940's. It has a seal on top of the lantern which says "haeckel jupiter". Are you guys familiar with the name? I've tried to search the net for the name but could not find anything about it. I attached 2 pics for your reference.
I was hoping you guys could shed some light on my buy.
