Anybody have any idea what this is? I sell art and antiquarian books and this is way outside my expertise. This is a skirt or textile of indeterminate age but certainly pretty old that someone paid a good amount to professionally frame. It is in my completely completely uniformed opinion either a skirt created sometime during the late 60's for a child and then framed which makes sort of sense or a textile from a Native American group. It seems to me to look older than the 60's which is the only time period that making something like this for a child and then framing makes sense but it could just be wear to the item. Any guesses are appreciated.
