Description: Metal Lunch Box

This antique metal lunch box is in bad shape. The scenery on each side of the box is worn off and what was most likely the flip down handles on each side are now gone. The interior of the lunch box is made of brass and this is viewable from the interior. The lid is hinged and flips back. I am looking for the date this was made and the value.

What kind of information can you give me on this lunch box...It is an odd shape though, most I have come across have been domed shaped and or what was also called miner buckets...Please let me know your thoughts.

I have never seen another one of these types of antique lunchboxes either. I would be interested to see what it actually looked like in great shape. If anyone has a link to a site that has one of these displayed or even a photograph of one that you have, I would love to see it.
