Can someone help me identify this old nursing rocker?

Description: An old rocking chair I picked up for $10. Solid wood, old dark stain on top. Seat and back seem to be made of some very thin sheets of wood, this is where the most wear and damage appears to be. Overall structure seems very solid. Screws and finishing nails are rusty, brass tacks along seat and back are tarnished, 3 are missing in total.

There is a signature underneath but I don't know if it's original or if someone scribbled on it later, seems to be done in carpenter's pencil. Hard to read, looks like Leonard?

I can't seem to find anything online that looks exactly like this so I'm having a hard time pinpointing an age or value for this chair. Style seems to be a ladie's sewing chair, also known as a nursing rocker since it has no arm rests and is between an adult size and child size.

Any information would be greatly appreciated. I collect cheap furniture and refurbish it but I'm too curious to do anything to this very old looking rocker. Thanks! Smile
