Description: This was given to my grandfather back in the 50's by a farmer in Iowa. He was traveling through and doing some welding for the farmer, along with his pay the farmer gave him this. It states on the metal piece:
"Common Sense"
R.N. Thomas
Shenandoah, Iowa

It is in rather good shape. I would just like to know if there may be some history to it and if it might be of some value.
