Description: I found this in a Salvation Army store. As strange as this sounds, my 1st thoughts were this was made of wood, after examining much closer specifically for this appraisal, it seems maybe some sort of clay or stone. Using a insulin syringe needle, I tried scraping into the piece. It is very dense feeling but began showing dust like something made of clay would if scraped. The 3 balls that on the rope are also made of some type of clay. It also has a price tag of $290 on the bottom. It weighs approx 4lbs., It is 5" tall and base is approx. 7 1/2".
Keywords: Architectural, Pedestal, Pillar, STAND, antique, base, candle, clay
