Description: This old 13x6x5 steel lock box has been in family since approx. WW2. Its looks to have been orig. red. Brass handle on top. Keyhole on top. There is a knob on top that I believe sets the wind up beii inside. There is a pinhole in the rear looks like it may didarm it.the bottom has a hole that a steel ball bearing will drop and set off alarm if picked up. Inside is the windup bell mounted on the left with its linkage to the knob on top and ball on bottom. There are 2 black velvet and tape drawers, there are no dividers. The only marking is on the mount plate for the alarm "APR 22 1915". My pics would not upload sorry. Can someone please help me id this and mabye its worth. There was an antique dealer and he wanted it too bad for a 100 bucks.Thank you.
