Description: I would like to learn about this tea set. It was given to me by a friend who knows nothing about it. It is all hand painted with quite a lot of gold trim. It appears to be some form of pottery. I do not believe it is bone china or porcelain. As can be seen from the pictures, there is a very ornate maker's mark on the bottom of every piece which appears to be under the glaze and also hand painted on. There is a variety of different flowers on the cups and saucers.
