Description: I recently inherited a lot of furniture that is absolutely beautiful. My boys and I like researching and finding out the history of things we come across. we have been researching this piece for a long time and just can not find it anywhere. I found a bit of information as I went along and I like to share it with you.
The stand measures 24"Wx 14"Dx 23 1\2H
The top is in the shape of trapezoid with a inlay of Black Nero Portoro Marble and a cherub angel is carved on one side. I believe it to be made of walnut. Possibility from the 19th century probably French Renaissance. There is not any marks or stamps that i have seen anywhere.
