Description: This is an interesting item. It clearly is a stamp or press of sorts. It’s spring loaded, and the spring is made of brass. It has a grooved spot to put in some sort of replaceable part. Maybe to use different letters or shapes? Also the bottom where you would put said item was made of cloth and had a small worn out cushion. The real mystery is the set of tubes on top which have plungers that are made of brass. These tubes are just rolled sheet metal and are open on both sides. I have no clue what purpose they served. There are no distinguishing marks whatsoever on this item, anywhere.
