Description: Early 1800s mountain wagon. Total Length:9'. Width:6'7". Heigth:6'. Staves;11' front wheels:42". Rear wheels:47" removable rear seat. Toe board. Double spring. Used by mine owners to get to their mines up in the mountains. Shorter wheelbase to negotiate the tight mountain switchbacks. It was found in a pioneer dump near Chelan wa.in 1988. Rebuilt by the Ox-Bow Trading Co. In Canyon City Ore.
