Description: I bought this knife in 1985 at a knife show in NYC in Madison Square garden at the Gerber exhibition. I have seen other knives that are almost the same, but so far have not found the same knife. The blade is stamped Design by Blackie Collins- first production run 1985. This knife is double edge, but does not have serrations on the blade, all the others I have seen have a single or double edge with serrations. The case is hard plastic with "Gerber Portland Oregon 97223 USA patent pending" on the case. Trying to find out if this is a rare knife.
