Description: No identifying marks. A Hand-carved item 17.5 inches tall x 6.5 wide at the base. All wood Weighs 4.5 lbs. I thought it was Mary holding Jesus until I read that Mary almost always wore a veil, so that threw me off tract. However, historical images of Madonna holding St. John showed her without veils. Any ideas? Thanks
