Description: These are three panels that each have unique carvings and inlays. Carvings are gilt in some fashion, but the gilding is largely rubbed away. The top back wooden panel of each slides down, there is a tab on the back of each to lock the sliding "window" in place. They are light, so I think they are bamboo. Scenes look kind of like Kabuki, but I am far, far from knowledgable. Other scenes are of flowers and of birds. What are these?

Our best guesses have been windows or privacy panels (screens).
