Description: Solid brass with a cast iron removable insert, possibly used for hot coals? No markings or identifying symbols. Came from Northern New England. Measures 9" in length by 5" high. Hole cutouts on top look either Middle Eastern or Turkish possibly. My thoughts are a vintage hand warmer or possibly incense burner??

Thanks for your help!
