Description: Appears to be desk-like.
Two circular holes in the bottom.

I found it in my mother's basement. It came from my grandfather's. He grew up in Washington County MD. My grandfather was a dentist who began his practice in the 1930's. His father was a merchant.

I am really curious about the two holes. I want to know if it is likely that "anyone in the world" would want to attempt to restore it. I'd hate to throw it away if someone could use it, or if it would be valuable if it were in better condition, or had a really unique use/ story.
