It does not look like the famous bent wood chairs that Thonet is known for. I have contacted both the American and European divisions of Thonet and neither has any info on it. I was contacted directly by Helen Thonet in Germany and she is not sure if it is truly a Thonet especially since she only has access to their catalog of chairs made in Europe. Has anyone seen one of these before? Keywords: Thonet Chair??
