Description: This item appears to be hand made and old. The flat surface is made of copper and measures about 9" X 8". This part is attached to the steel frame and can slide front to back about 4 ". The horseshoe part of the bracket has the loops at the top and a single hole at the bottom. The horseshoe shaped part measures about 6" X 7". I would just like to have an idea of what this item is and what purpose it served.
